Customized workshops
Lights and Shadows of William Kentrige at the Center of Contemporary Culture of Barcelona 2020
Workshop for the creation of shadow theater pieces carried out during the summer program “Culturnates 2020” of the CCCB with children from 6 to 12 years old.
From the formal and conceptual analysis of the work “More Sweetly Play the Dance” by Kentridge, the groups proposed different situations of their reality where the theme of power and exclusion, which Kentridge refers to in all his works, was evidenced.
Club of friends of "Patufet". Experience at Casas de Barcelona elementary school 2013
Collaboration with the Casas school in order to introduce students to the world of theater and to work transversally on the different aspects of the puppetry profession and the theme of the Patufet play.
During an entire day, the 3rd and 4th grade groups, organized in commissions (protocol, technicians and journalists), experienced and documented all the steps that take place in order to perform a show: arrival, unloading, assembly and acting warm-up.
Each group saw the two performances, but each one in a different way. The first, in the stalls, and the second, backstage, where they were able to discover the secrets of the show.
The day ended with a press conference where the students asked a number of questions that they had prepared in advance.
The following days, the students continued working on the theme with different proposals such as the construction of puppets with objects or the creation of an illustrated album about the life of the character Patufet.
