Nine places for a nomad
Description
This scenic proposal is the first collaboration of the company with the musician and composer Jaume Tugores. Invited by the musician, the company uses an overhead projector to illustrate live the images suggested by the instrumental soundtrack that the musician composed inspired by the trip he made in 2006 to Myanmar.
The show proposes a journey through nine places – sometimes only metaphorical – through the figure of a nomad. It opens the doors to reflect on changes, adaptation, new projects, beginnings and endings. It speaks to us of desires, illusions and inspiration, of the greatness of the human being or the discovery of oneself.
As a concert, it offers a different live performance, with much added value to the lyrical and descriptive music that Tugores performs on stage with his guitar – sometimes accompanied by other instruments: cello, viola, double bass and drums -, while the images of the film of his journey are projected on the screen of a theater.
